Agreement

These terms are between you and Sorrelpine Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17327962), and apply to Sheerwing, our skin progress tracker (the "app"). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

If you got the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If these terms and Apple's agreement conflict, Apple's takes priority for anything that concerns Apple.

What the app is

The app is a personal skin journal. It reports patterns in what you choose to log, such as how your check-ins changed after you started a product. It is not a medical device, does not give medical advice, and is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Please don't rely on it for medical decisions. For any skin concern, see a doctor or dermatologist.

Your content

Your photos, check-ins and notes belong to you. They stay on your device, as described in our privacy policy. We claim no ownership of them and take no licence over them.

Subscriptions

• Premium is billed through your Apple or Google account at the price shown before you buy.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• A free trial becomes a paid subscription when it ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. If notifications are on, the app reminds you the day before your trial ends.
• You can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, or from Manage subscription in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. See our support page for how to ask.

Fair use

Please don't copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, or use it to break the law.

No guarantee of results

We work hard to make the app accurate and reliable. But verdicts are observations from the data you log, and we can't promise any particular result for your skin. The app is provided as it is, and we may change or improve its features over time.

Our liability

As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that can't be limited by law. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the app after that, you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep any protection the law of your home country gives you, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
